Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.7 × 6.2 × 4.7 cm
Description

New material from a recent small discovery (2018) at Sicily. New discoveries from large mining areas in China, Africa or US are not really a surprise - but a these new fluorites from an small island, hand-extracted, not from an industrial mine is really an exceptional and relevant discovery! For Sicily a really important and spectacular novelty! The particular specimen is even more exceptional out of the reason that it is on matrix (most are just clusters). It shows one exposed main crystal (32mm on edges) with internal zoning. The first photo was done with minor backlight, the second shows the piece under daylight.
