Description

Great classic! The largest, oldest and most significant opal deposit in Europe.
The opal is hosted in Tertiary volcanic rock. The history of the locality goes back to the old Romans! Material - specially really good oplas - are very hard to obtain. The specimen shows a large field of iridiscent opal in excellent quality. This is very good for the locality! No significant damages to report.
