Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Oberzeiring, Pölstal, Murtal District, Styria, Austria
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
10.2 × 6.6 × 5.5 cm
Description

This is a very rare specimen from a famous classic locality in Styria. The steel-grey blue crystals are razor sharp terminated, they show a very fine contrast with their snowy white edges. There is an exposed main group in the center - it is much more tri-dimensional in person. Along the edges of the specimen it seems to be framed with more brownish matrix. In excellent condition damage-wise! Should be high ranked for the rare locality - this material is very difficult to obtain, and the particular specimen is not just a sample! It is on very high level for the locality.
