Description

Alpine Titanite from Austria are usually green and normally they come from Salzburg county. This one comes from Tyrol - so already the locality is uncommon and rare. The seocnd indicator is the uncommon color - not green, it is a cognac-brown to yellow color. The main crystals is completely exposed at the top of the piece. It is sharp terminated, highly lustrous and gemmy. This is very rare material, it comes from a small discovery from only two clefts in more than 3000 meters altitude.
