Description

Weisseck mountain is famous for fluorite from the area around the peak elevation (Summit cleft and Ice cleft), but this one is from the area around Lake Rieding, which is located 600 meters below at the other side of the mountain. This locality usually produce sharp terminated, light green crystals. This one shows the typical green color, but in stronger saturation and with the uncommon stepped habit, that we usually only know from the area around the summit. It shows great contrast to brownish matrix and represents more uncommon material from the locality.
