Description

First of all - the specimen is discocverd as floater, the bottom shows the same sharp and lustrous end-points as the top terminations. The specimen shows a fantastic green color, that will beat most emeralds - even those from Colombia. The faces are highly lustrous and the stratiation is simply wonderful. The translucency is also on a very high level - it needed only minor backlight to show this amazing color. A crystal in this size, with this habit and color is absolutely fantastic for Ojua and should be high ranked for all these indicators. It was discovered in 1980 and came from the collection of Martin Oliete Fontela, who bought this piece decades ago from Jodi Farbe. No significant damages to report.
