Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Deo Darrah, Khash & Keran Wa Munjan, Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.1 × 4 × 1.7 cm
Description

Sky blue cesium-rich beryl crystals (the material was analyzed by Dr. Federico Pezzotta in Milan) formed a spectacular assemble. This material is often labeled as Vorobyevite - it would need an analyze of each particular specimen to make sure of Vorobyevite is correct. The crystals show a dark sharp zoning in their centers and an amazing texture on each en-point (they are all double terminated). Very rare, uncommon material and in this size and quality really exceptional. The piece is developed as floater, no significant damages to report.
