Description

So far I never had any specimen from the locality; Cerrusite from Zambia is incredible rare! And this specimen is on highest level. I never had any piece in person, I never saw one in person before, only know this material from books or magazines. And there was nothing even close to this one. The crystals are all double terminated, they show a strong yellow - nearly honey like - color. All faces show a wonderful texture and are as lustrous as it ever could be! And the piece is a floater, it looks perfect all around - the backside is not less attractive than front-display. In the middle you can see a small part of matrix, which gives more contrast to the piece. Finally - the unusual habit makes it very special for Cerrusite in general. It looks more like Calcite than any Cerrusite. In fine condition overall.
