Description

First of all - there is no backlight, no lamps or light-effects, the photos show the specimen under daylight and it is incredible. The whole upper thrid is massive, pure sugilite, it is not just a layer or a thin vein. A 35mm tall, 34mm from left to right hand side and 27mm thick arae of pure, purple sugilite - this is fantastic! And it shows the most intense color you can imagine for the mineral! The specimen was in a famous German gem-stone collection: Ex Wondraschek coll.
