Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Berezovsk Mines, Ekaterinberg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian Federation
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4 × 3.4 × 2.9 cm
Description

Scheelite from the locality is an exceptional rarity. The crystal (24 mm across) is pereched at the top of matrix, it is razor-sharp and highly lustrous. The color is dark orange - it´s a different kind of color that we know from China, but not less intense or less attractive. Berezovsk was the first and oldest gold mining area on Urals and in Russia, it also produced a lot of other minerals, but scheelite was for sure on eof the most rare species. Should be high ranked for aesthetic asseble, locality and rarity.
