79 Mine, Chilito, Banner District, Gila County, Arizona, United States of America

Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

5.9 × 4.3 × 2.6 cm
Description

A great specimen with several exposed well shaped spheres of intense green aurichalcite. Really fine contrast to matrix! Aurichalcite from this old copper mine is justifiably famous with collectors, but few samples survive, and most are small. This is an already remarkable dimension for the species and locality. Also the asethetic assemble is outstanding, should be high ranked for this famous classic locality.
