Fluorite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Poggio Balate, Termini Imerese, Palermo Province, Sicily, Italy
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.1 × 4.1 × 4.4 cm
Description

This is a very uncommon specimen with sharp zoning from a small but very important discovery at Sicily. For me one of the most surprising and most important novelities at the last Munich show. The specimen shows a group of several inter grown crystals - the main crystal shows a intense blue sharp center and lighter zoning along the edegs.
