Description

The specimen consists of three intergrown sharp terminated and lustrous tourmaline crystals, all of them double-terminated. They show a very uncommon, high translucency. Usually material from this locality shows a large black area and only minor color along the end-points, but not so here! The upper third show strong pink color and at the bottom of each crystal you can see an intense green zoning. Please note, it does not need any backlight to see this colors, photos were done under daylight. The lustrous faces show a very attrective stratiation. The combination with snowy white, lustrous Clevelandite gives a lot of contrast and great visual impact to this georgous speciemen. No significant demages to report, one contact is present at the back side.
