Description

A wonderful crystal from a recent but small discovery at Teixerinha Mine. The relatively small mine is well-known for light- blue topaz and green elbaite. This new material is really amazing: The particular crystal shos a light blue area at the bottom, then it switches to light green and nearly emerald green in the upper third and finally it shows intense steel-blue at the top. Please note this is daylight photography, the clarity of the crystal is so high that it does not need any backlight to show this amazing colors. We can judge this specimen as flawless, there are no inclusions, cut quality from bottom to top. The faces and also the pyramidal end points are highly lustrous all around. There is not even a minor compromise on this high quality jam crystal.
