Description

Look at this assemble – it looks like a „L“. The horizontal crystal at the base is a dark red Rubellite, the vertical group expose different colors: it shows dark green color at the base, then a blue area in the middle and finally sharp terminated red caps. The crystals are all very glossy and sharp terminated, the vertical ones show modified pyramidal end-points. A part of the faces show a second generation of micro-crystals. I photographed this group under daylight(2nd and 3rd photo in the gallery)and one time (1st photo in the gallery) with moderately backlight.  Still photos are understatement and don´t do justice to the piece.
The vertical group is undamaged, the horizontal group shows a repair. The repair was done very well and is nearly visible and it is not really necessary – without the repair the horizontal part of the „L“-shape would be a little bit shorter. Anyway - a really spectacular assemble, amazing diversity of colors and very uncommon with these red caps.
