Apatite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Panasqueira Mines, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.1 × 3.6 × 3.9 cm
Description

A very tridimensional assemble of sharp terminated, lustrous apatite crystals. The assemble looks like a stairway. The color of the rystals is dark blue - a very rare color! The crystals are very translucent, so they even look better with backlight, I only photographed them under daylight.
