Description

In my evaluation this is still the most beautiful combination and the very best locality for pyrite world-wide. Unfortunately field-collecting is impossible there since many years and no new material can be expected. This particular specimen features a highly lustrous, intense colored main crystal set in the center of the piece! Hematite blades are shining and make an astonishing contrast with the gold colour of the pyrites.. The faces show amazing texture, all faces are on the same high luster - photography cannot show the mirror-like luster, much better in person! The specimen came out the collection of local collector and it is professionally treated in order to avoid future oxidation. Please note - it is not etched or dull, this is wonderful texture and all these steps and all this structure shows mirror-luster. No significant damages to report.
