Description

A really fantastic sample of Boltsburn fluorite. The mine was closed in 1931, so this is a really historic and classic UK fluorite. The  limestone matrix is covered with tiny light crystals. Set in the center you can see large, exposed fluorite crystals. Their faces show fantastic texture and high luster. The color is dark blue with sharp zoning along the edges. The main group had not enough room to grow, so there is small contact backside. Great assemble and wonderful contrast and also lot of exciting details. No significant damages to report.
