Description

First important information: I didn´t use any backlight or artificial light. The crystal is photographed under daylight with just light background. This is the natural color! You can get Indicolite from Brazil in the same color

- but not in this clarity. When you see photosin the web you have to know that all these crystals are photographed with strong backlight, they have the color but not the translucency! This crystal is like cut glass, really amazing quality! Although the saturation   is very strong and although the color is very dark you can look through this crystal.

The color is a vibrant, electric blue - haven´t seen even ten crystals in this quality and color during all my years as collector and dealer. The color is so vibrant and intense – photo just give you an idea, in person it is even much better. The faces are highly lustrous all around, same high quality 360°. The endpoints show sharp modifications with many interesting additional faces. Finally the locality is important: blue Santa Rosa crystals were found decades ago. There is nothing on the market, this material is more or less impossible to obtain. So not only an eye-catching specimen with fantastic color – also an exceptional rarity. No significant damages to report. Highly recommended, one of the finest tourmaline crystals I ever had in this dimension.
