Description

The most accuarte locality information for this material was only Paraiba - no one knows where these specimen were exactly found. Polyhedral agate most likely filled the voids between "angel wing" type calcites, that subsequently disappeared. This material was discovered for the first time in 1972, no new discoveries since 1995. During the last 3 decades this material became more and more rare. This specimen is remarkable - the black and white framing and the bright yellow zoning are really fantastic. Well cut and polished on both sides.
