Description

The specimen was discovered in on 5th of September 2016, fresh from the cleft to this auction on e-rocks. It shows an isolated, freestanding, well developed octahedral crystal - 40mm across! The crystals shows etched, frosted faces, which are still glossy! The crystal is complete all around, set exposed on a small snowy white matrix. The balance is perfect and aesthetic assemble couldn´t be better. On the secomd photo you can see a small atea along the edge, which looks like a damage, but it isn´t - just a natural result of etching. Finally to color: not just pale pink like many specimen from this area, the saturation is strong and tends nearly to red than to pink. A crystal in this dimension, such aesthetic is really hard to obtain.
