Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Beryller, Abichl Alp, Zell am See District, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Single Crystal
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.9 × 5.3 × 5.3 cm
Description

Adularia is developed as sharp terminated twinned crystal. The faces are all powdered with dark green chlorite. But this layer is very thin and so the faces are still very glossy. Along the sides you can see uncountable, sharp terminated tiny steps. The specimen is well developed all around, only bottom was on the rock. Looks great in each angle. Hard to photograph and much better in person. No significant damages to report.
