Description

First of all I have to note that this specimen is so much better in person: the crystals show very high clarity and translucency - it is like colored glass. The faces show the very best luster and colors and color range is also much more spectacular in person and it doesn´t even nedd any backlit to see internal color and phantoms. The centers show various steps of green and along edges and corners you can see a vibrant, sharp zoning in dark violet, nearly purple color. Saturation is high over average, as well clarity and luster. Since a couple of years there is no more specimen-mining possible at Okorusu mine, so this material - specially in this quality - will become more and more rare. No significant damages to report, backside was on the rock.
