Combination
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.4 × 4.4 × 3.2 cm
Description

Amethyste is generally rare from Romania, but Turt produced some very good specimen. Usually you need a lot of phantasy and an engaged local collector to see ametyhste color on all these specimen, sold as amethyste. The particular specimen shows a really good - for the locality - saturation. At the base and in the center the color is more strong, along the edges and to the tip the crystals become lighter. The special feature is the combination with pyrite. Highly lustrous, golden pyrite crystals form a thin plate, on it you can see the freestanding amethyste crystals. This combination is not only rare, it is very aesthetic and eye-catching. no significant damages to report.
