Description

I know Malachite from the locality, I know Barite from the locality – but never before I saw such an amazing combination from this region. The Malachite developed tiny sprays, all glossy and dark, intense green. Barite formed tabular crystals, they are lustrous and the color is dark, intense yellow. Barite grew inside a bug of Malachite.

The contrast of such strong colors is amazing, that´s visible on the photo. You cannot see the tridimensional assemble, which is better in person. Overall the photo is not even 70% of the impression, when you see it in person. And again – I think that this combination is fantastic.  As you can see on my photos, not all Barite crystals had enough room to grow. No significant damages to report, accept the bottom/backside was extracted from the rock
