Description Tabs

Description
Locality:

Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
14.3 × 8.1 × 10.5 cm
Description

From the discovery in Vain Pocket in August 2009. This discovery produced some of the largest crystals of this famous locality. The specimen consists of 3 intergrown crystals, the largest one in the center! The assemble is very tri-dimensional and looks much better in person. The crystals are covered with a light layer of aragonite. Only the upper section of the main crystal shows a small area without this layer. The color is typically for Rogerley - dark green. The fluorite is very glossy, gemmy at teh corner, where is even shows the typical daylight fuorescence. Caused by the crystal size caused by the low quantity of this material it is of very high relevance for Rogerley. No significant damages to report, backside was on the rock. One last side-note: teh backside shows violet and yellow internal zones. Ex Martin Gruell Fluorite-collection.
