Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Weißeck Area, Murwinkel, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.4 × 3.9 × 2.8 cm
Description

This specimen represent a great rarity. It is from the east slope of the mountain, from a small area where it is nearly impossible to dig. Steep inclines and debris avalanches makes it very, very dangerous to dig there. The cluster consists of two main crystals; they show a green-blue color. I photographed it with minor backlit on dark background and without light source only under daylight on light background. No significant damage to report, backside was extracted from the rock.
