Description

Many specimen from this find of this famous locality are completely black. This one is completely different: the color of wulfenite tends to orange but also it seems to a touch olive, hard to describe. The crystals are thin tabular, they are glossy and some show really a very nice texture. Their edges are framed with tiny crystals of colorless baryte. And finally the matrix – it consists of psilomelane, which developed hemispheres. The assemble is very tridimensional, not just a plate – it is more bended. Not completely undamaged (there are so many fragile crystals, you will find a broken one), but overall in fine condition.
