Description

From a discovery in summer 2014. An Austrian strahler visited the well known aragonite localities, but then he decided to dig on new places nearby. When he discovered the particular vein, most specimen where only grey and ugly. Only a small area produced these amazing samples. The faces are etched, but there is still a sharp typical habit. Although faces are etched, they all are very lustrous. Also the color is very special, in the middle the crystals show dark violet color and became light to colorless at the end-points. The specimen features two intergrown crystals, both at high quality. The specimen is developed as floater. Regarding all informations from the discoverer I have to mention that it was only one found, only one small area produced this stuff and no more new material could be expected. And this specimen is very significant and remarkable as it shows a nearly zepter-like habit. Undanaged, well formed all around and better in person.
