Tourmaline & Muscovite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Sapo Mine, Goiabeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
14.2 × 9.7 × 5.6 cm
Description

Very fine and colorful assemble. The tourmaline crystals show incredible intense, emerald-like color and an deep purple core. Their faces are very glossy! The yellow muscovite helps to give this great contrast. Most larger crystals are not end-pointed, this was typically for this discovery. The crystals had nearly never enough room to grow, so from this discovery end-pointed crystals don´t exist. Overall a very aesthetic assemble and an eyecatcher with all these colors.
