Kamariza Mines, Agios Konstantinos, Lavrion District, Attiki Prefecture, Greece
Size Range:
Museum (18cm plus)
Size:
18.6 × 16.2 × 9.6 cm
Description

Light aragonite with touch of blue, attractively set on red-brown limonite matrix from this famous classic locality. There are some vugs filled with aragonite inside the matrix. Aragonite developed in narrow clefts, so there are some areas along the edges of the specimen where aragonite has no room to grow. Great contrast and great visual impact by the dimension of this specimen. No significant damages to report.
