Description

Alpine rock crystals from Austria are very hard to obtain and much more rare than material from Switzerland. Hocharn mountain belongs to the national park "Hohe Tauern", it is prohibited to dig there, only a few local collectors have a permit - really hard to obtain. The crystal is much better in person. It shows much better clarity as seen on photography, it is water-clear and there are barely no internal cracks. But on a photo you see reflections on the backside, so it´s nearly impossible to capture clarity with the camera. Faces shows uncountable steps and amazing texture, they are all very lustrous. Bottom, lower backside where on the rock, but rehealed - crystal is a flaoter and in excellent condition damage-wise.
