Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Antimony Mine, Stadtschlaining, Oberwart District, Burgenland, Austria
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.2 × 4.3 × 4.1 cm
Description

Great rarity from this only important discovery of stibnite of stibnite in entire Austria. The locality is non-productive, no new material came out since decades (last mine was closed in 1991). The specimen shows several sharp terminated, highly lustrous crystals, some of them even end-pointed and that is not very common. No significant damages to report.
