Landsverk Quarries, Evje og Hornnes, Agder, Norway
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)

11.1 × 9 × 2.1 cm
Description

First of all: not a colourful or spectacular sample, but an exceptional rarity. Fluorite from Norway is generally rare and very hard to obtain. This particular sample is typically for Landsverk, you can see a first generation of tiny violet crystals, covered by a second generation of pale green crystals. The specimen shows a good contrast to matrix and is in good condition damage-wise.
