Locality:
Höllgraben, Pfarrwerfen, St Johann im Pongau District, Salzburg, Austria
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.6 × 2.7 × 2.5 cm
Description

Very rare material from this classic locality, the only locality in entire Austria that produced lazulite of relevance. The specimen features one large, partly glossy and sharp terminated crystal. Today it is nearly impossible to acquire good material from this locality, got this one from an old local collector last year. Good contrast to dark brown matrix, well balanced and in good condition damage-wise.
