Description

First of all: this locality represents one of the most rare localities for pink fluorite in whole Switzerland. Specimen from Goeschener Alp, Zinggenstock and so on are much more common. The particular specimen is out of a single find, only one small cleft, which produced only a fist full of specimen. The specimen consists only of fluorite, front and backside is crystalized, all sharp terminated octahedrons. The crystals are of high clarity and they show satiny luster. The color is very intense pink. No significant damages to report and very attractive in various positions.
