Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Chamachhu, Haramosh Mountains, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.7 × 3 × 2.9 cm
Description

Several freestanding, very glossy and sharp terminated chrome-diopside crystals set on white feldspar matrix. The color of diopside is intense dark green, looks more like tourmaline than diopside - very fine color! In front of this amazingly delicate assemble of diopside you can see a sharp, clear colorless apatite crystal, which is very glossy. very aesthetic, uncommon combination. I show a close up of the end points of diopside to documentate that end-points are undamaged, consisting of tiny steps. No significent damages overall.
