Description

This material was found in april 2010. When we rediscover this old locality we had to move tons - and this not meant as phrase - of rocks. The fluorite vein was collapsed and filled with rocks during decades. After we removed all this rubble and rocks we found nearly colorless crystals with strong etching. But we followed the fluorite vein inside the rock and when we were about 6 to 8 meters deep inside the mountain (only made this with hammers and chisels) we found samples like the particular one. Better color and less etching. This specimen is special, there is a light yellow layer of stilbite on one side, that helps to give contrast to intergrown crystals. No significant damages to report. If you want to read more about the discovery have a look at our article on our web-site.
