Description

Famosue material from a smaller discovery at Sinerechenskoye, near Dal´negorsk. The brownish matrix is full with tiny crystals of andradite. Really large exposed crystals of quartz with hedenbergite-inclusions, they show a stepped habit (we call this "artischoken"-habit). All these steps are very glossy and sharp. The contrast of greenish quartz crystals is very fine, the assemble is simply striking. Also there was never too much quantity on the market, so rarity is also of relevance. The main crystals are complete also backside and there are no significent damages to report. On the backside one broken, but rehealed crystal.
