Locality:
Moldova Nouă Mine, Moldova Nouă-Sasca, Banat Mountains, Caraş-Severin County, Romania

Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6 × 4.5 × 4.5 cm
Description

Colourless to pale green octahedral fluorite crystals (up to 10mm on edges) in a small vug. This is very rare material, I never saw one from the locality before. It must be a very old piece, the labels look pretty old, one even written in "Kurrent-letters", so maybe one century or even older. The crystals are sharp terminated and undamaged. The former owner was Dr. Karl Götzendorfer, he was doctor of mineralogy and one of the prominent collectors in Austria.
