Locality:
Luftenberg, St Georgen an der Gusen, Perg District, Upper Austria, Austria

Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.6 × 2.7 × 2.3 cm
Description

Very rare material from a discovery in 1973. Already in the 80ties when I spent a lot of time at the locality (at the age of 15) it was already very difficult to find just a sample. Now - 40 years later impossible to find just a micor-piece there. The light green beryl crystal is 16 mm across, sharp termianted and glossy and embedded in feldspat.
