Description

Orange-brown, rather crude, lustrous crystals of anorthite up to 8 mm across, embedded in matrix with some free-standing crystal faces from Monzoni Mts. Fassa Valley, Italy. An interesting specimen of a relatively rare end-member of the plagioclase series.
