Description

A specimen consisting of numerous crystals of redbrown coloured eucolite (an optically negative variety of eudialyte), up to 3 cm in size, embedded in light grey albite.

Two old labels; one of these with «Obtained from Hofrat Senft 1892 or 1893».

The specimen was probably in the collection of Karl Osterwald (1853-1923) afterwards who got it from Hofrat (= privy councillor) Ferdinand Senft (1810-1893).
