Description

Several powdery/earthy white aggregates of keldyshite in nepheline and aegirine. Keldyshite is an alteration product of parakeldyshite. Partly fresh parakeldyshite is still visible as remnants within the white keldyshite mass. It is a rich specimen for keldyshite, the largest aggregate (beside several others) measuring 2.3 x 1 cm. Both, keldyshite and parakeldyshide show a distinct fluorescence (SW).

An unique specimen from the Larvikite/Langesundsfjord Region in Southern Norway!
