Description

A very good 3.8 cm striated crystal of aegirine from its type locality together with some grey/brownish eläolith (= former name for nepheline) crystals and light grey microcline and a bit of molybdenite .

The specimen is from the collection of the famous Swedish mineralogist Harry von Eckermann († 1969, the mineral Eckermannite is named after him) and is followed by an original label bonded in a cardboard box.
