Description

Radiating red coloured natrolite crystals, earlier called Bergmannite, are embedded in Spreustein, a rock type from the Langesundsfjord area in Southern Norway, almost entirely consisting of natrolite. Specimen from the locality Stavern earlier named Fredriksvärn.

The specimen is from the collection of the famous Swedish mineralogist Harry von Eckermann († 1969, the mineral Eckermannite is named after him) and is followed by an original label bonded in a cardboard box.
