Description

Two gahnite crystals showing distinct and sharp octahedron are embedded in a matrix of pyrrhotite and pyrite. One of the crystals has a natural crack that was partly refilled with pyrite. The larger crystal measures 1 cm on an edge, the smaller 0.6 cm. A rare specimen from an abandoned sulphide mine in Northern Norway that once was mined for lead and zinc.
