Description

Two well developped black crystals of Gadolinite-(Y) from the classic locality Hitterø. The larger one shows faces all around with a narrow crack that is not repaired! The specimen is stable. The smaller with metallic luster shows sharp edges and good faces. There is a little bit of white feldspar matrix and mica on the backside of the specimen. No detectable elevated radioactity.
