Description

Thulite is the „National Stone of Norway“ and has been used as gemstone and for the manufacturing of gemstone products since many years. There a several different occurences of thulite in Norway, each with its specific characteristics.

Here we have a specimen of nice pink thulite impregnated in a gneiss with numerous small, dark red coloured spots of piemontite.
