Description

The Høydalen lithium pegmatite near Tørdal is known for a number of rare mineral species. Here we have, embedded in quartz and albite, a 1.5 cm long zone with a chalk-like, white earthy mass of a mixture of kamphaugite Y and kainosite Y which are altertion products of kuliokite Y.
